Watering Restrictions

CITY OF CONROE IMPLEMENTS WATERING RESTRICTIONS

As a result of the change, watering will be restricted to those addresses ending with even numbers on Wednesdays, Thursdays,  Saturdays and Sundays and odd numbers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. 

Violaters of the ordinance will pay fines, after a first warning. A second violation results in a $200 fine, a third results in a $300 fine and, after that, each violation will bring a $500 fine.

IRRIGATION SCHEDULE EXPLAINED

An even-numbered address means an address ending in the numbers 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 or letters A through M.

(Even) You can water your lawn:

• Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM

• Thursday from 12:01 AM until 10:00 AM

• Saturday from 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM

• Sunday from 12:01 AM until 10:00 AM

An odd-numbered address is one ending in the numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or N through Z.

(Odd) You can water your lawn:

• Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM

• Wednesday from 12:01 AM until 10:00 AM

• Friday from 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM

• Saturday from 12:01 AM until 10:00 AM

Mandatory lawn and landscape watering measures are in effect throughout the City of Conroe from May 1 through October 31. Always avoid watering between the hottest hours of the day - 10:01 am to 5:45 pm. If you have water restriction questions, please contact the City of Conroe at 936-522-3170.
